Presents I got ^^

So exactly a week ago it was Sinterklaas, and this year I celebrated 4 times in total. I know, that's a lot. We celebrated 1) at my grandparents' house, with the grandchildren, 2) with my family, 3) with my friends and 4) at club, in church. With club, everyone buys a couple of presents, and we play the so called 'Sinterklaas Game'. It's basically where you throw the dice, and when you throw 6 you get to take a present, and there are several tasks you have to do. It's quite complicated to explain, but you could see it as a mini-war where you steal presents from each other. But it's a lot of fun. At my grandparents' house and at home we just buy presents and give them to each other. My little brother and sister still think Zwarte Piet (translated into Black Peter) and Sinterklaas bring the presents (:

And with my friends we buy presents, make a poem and a surprise for the one whose name we drew. And of course I 'celebrated' it with Nathalie, but that's just the two of us so I don't think you could count it as a seperate celebration. But that doesn't make it less fun!

I'll show you the presents I got! Here is a picture of all of the presents I got.

So I got two books. Dutch books, to be exact. The Fellowship of The Ring - J. R. R. Tolkien, I got from my friend Nathalie, and the second book Insurgent - Veronica Roth I got from my grandparents. Insurgent is part two of a series. I absolutely loved the first book. And I am so happy with both of my books! I wanted to have the Fellowship for such a long time, and I was longing for Insurgent to finally come out in the Netherlands.

On the next picture you see some of the other presents I got. From my parents, I got a pink lipstick. This is my first ever lipstick and I really like it. Also my parents gave me new studs, they're very pretty.  Also (not on the picture) I got a new pair of ice skates from my parents which I yet have to buy, haha. But thank you so much mom and dad, I love my presents.

Moving on, I got a new charm for my bracelet from my grandparents. It's a music note, super cute! I put it on my bracelet immediately. Since my grandmother is very creative and makes lots of stuff herself she also knits a lot. She made this small knitted wallet a long time ago. She made hit for her mother, and after her mother died a couple of years ago, she got it back. Now she gave it to me, I love it so much. This is maybe my most valuable present I got, because there is a story behind it. And last but not least, my grandparents give their grandchildren every year at Sinterklaas a Chocolate Letter. And oh my, they taste so good! They know I love pure chocolate, so I got a pure A. Yum!
So these were my presents! I really like them and I am very happy with my presents.

Days left til Christmas: 13
PS; I know the pictures aren't of great quality, but I took all of the pictures with my phone late at night, so that explains it (:
