Loooooong time no see.

Well hello there everyone reading this! But I doubt there will be many people reading this since it's been FOREVER since I blogged. I went on vacation to Rome, and there I blogged for a bit, but the internet wasn't too well so not as much as I'd wanted.

What has happend since my last blogpost? First, we went home. Sadly. Summer vacation to me is sort of an escape from the daily life. On vacation it doens't matter what you do, because there is no one that will judge you. You can run around in your pajamas and no one will care. Wake up early, stroll around the camp site, watch the sun rise, go get bread for breakfast, dive in the swimming pool, reading a LOT, doing nothing... Just love the camping life <3

So sadly we went home. There is an end to everything, sadly. When we came home the weather was okay. Could've been worse. We drove home via Germany, where we stayed the night at a cute country site family hotel, and the next day we arrived home, after a long day in the car. We came home on a thursday, and the day after I had to start work at 8 (!!). But oh well, I managed haha. And the day after that I also had to work, this time at the market. Which meant getting up around 6am. But I sure do love my job!

And that Monday, I started the introduction week at my new school. It was tough, but also a lot of fun, maybe I'll write a blogpost about it soon. And after that week school really started. Lessons and such. Meh.

And here we are. The regular day to day life. School is hard, it's really tough and the new school system requires some getting used to, but so far I'm doing fine.

This was sort of an 'hey i'm back'-post, and I'm planning on blogging a lot more again (:

50 Book Challenge and Movies List

Maybe you noticed, but in case you didn't: I have 3 new pages on my blog! One contains some information about me, and the other two are a 50 book challenge and a movies list.

50 Books
This is a challenge I found when I was reading the booksandquills blog. There are also a lot of videos on youtube about it. It basically means that you have to read at least 50 books in a year. And even thought 2013 started a while back, I'm stille going to attempt the challenge. Wow, that's gonna be interesting, especially since I only read 9 (shame on me) books this year.
Time for a change! I've been reading so little (is that correct grammar? help me out here please) lately and I want to change that. I'll just have to make time for it (: 
Good plan? Good plan. Wish me luck.

Movies List
Aaaaand I'm also trying to write down all the movies I have watched this year. Once again, my memory isn't too great and I don't remember everything, but the list is already pretty long so far. Now the only thing left to do is keeping up (:

TV tip: New Girl

Hello everyone! Today I want to share one of the (in my opinion) funniest TV shows I've ever seen: New Girl. New girl is a TV series about a teacher, Jessica "Jess" Day, who moves in with 3 other guys who are all just as insane as she is: Nick, Winston and Schmidt. They constantly do stupid things and mess everyting up but always support each other in their stupidness.

Sometimes it's a bit weird, and there are a lot of childish sex jokes, but it is super funny. Approved!

I've watched this series since the first episode. Last week the season finale of season 2 aired, so if you're interested, you have 50 episodes to enjoy until the next season starts! (:

New Layout

As you may have noticed, I have a completely different layout since today. I liked the old one, but there was just something that annoyed me, don't know what. I wanted a new layout. So I decided to choose a VERY basic layout, very clean. The colours remind me of the spring, and I now it's still winter,  but the sun is shining at the moment and I am in a spring mood. The layout is not perfect yet, and there are a couple of things I need to change, like the background, but for now it will do.

Well, I have been blogging for about 2 months now, and I really like it. The main reason for me to start this blog was to practice my English. My native tongue is Dutch but I think English is a beautiful language and to me it is very important to have a high level in English and this is a great way to practice. But not just that, I also want to talk and write about things that inspire me, or things that happen to me. I like to write it down and share it with other people, like you.
I don't have many visitors, and I hope that will change someday, but right now I am very thankful for the people that visit my blog on a regular basis. So thank you very much for visiting my blog!
I want to make my blog a bit more 'professional' in the future. I want to post pictures taken with a good camera, from good quality, and not so much pics taken with my iPhone at 11PM, when there is terrible lightning (:

By Lack of... an original name

Alright, so when I finally decided to start a blog, I immediately encountered the first problem: a blog name. Great. I just started and already don't know what to do. I figured I should just brainstorm some things and then decide what to name my blog.
-one hour later-
Still don't know how to name my blog. Almost every (what I thought was) original name is already taken. But what does it matter anyway? It's just a blog name, right? Oh wait, it isn't! You can't change the name after you made it. What to do?!

Finally, I came up with this name. It is not the best name ever or anything, but it will do. And it's very appropriate for my blog (:

And here it is! My first blogpost ever! I know I'm not a very good writer, but I do like to write, and I think this blog will help me improve my writing skills. Hopefully.
Maybe it's nice to tell a little something about myself. My name is Anne, I am 15 years old and I live in the Netherlands.
