As you've probably read underneath the title of my blog, I am a 16-year-old girl from The Netherlands. My native language is Dutch, but I have had a major interest in the English language, ever since I can remember.
I love reading, and I own quite a lot of books. Currently, I am doing the 50 book challenge. Which means I have to read 50 books in 2013. I chose to do this because I noticed I wasn't reading as much as I used to, and just because reading is good for you. (:
Of course I still go to school. The Dutch school system is kind of hard to explain, but I'll do my best. If I lived in America, I would be in junior year of high school right now. The Dutch Secondary school has a certain system, and you can chose to take a 4 year course, a 5 year course, or a 6 year course, depending on your abilities and you interests. I am doing the 6 year course, which is a preperation for university (you don't have to go to uni of course, but I am planning on going). I am currently in my fifth year.
Other interests are: sailing, listening to 80s music, reading blogs, playing piano, traveling, watching (disney) movies, hanging out with friends, learning English, tumblr, obsessing over things, and much more. One of my all time favorite TV shows are Sherlock, Mentalist, NCIS, Merlin (oh my gosh. Have you SEEN Eoin Macken?!), New Girl, Pretty Little Liars.
Oh wow, this 'about me' page is already much longer than I was planning it to be. Oops. Well, hopefully you've learned a bit more about me, and I hope you like my blog. As you may notice, I am only a beginner and English isn't my native language, so if you see me making any spelling mistakes, feel free to let me know (:
