My V-Day Cards!

Wow! Believe it or not! But I got two valentine's day cards! I repeat: TWO. Aaaaah how amazing is that! I didn't expect to receive anything, so it was an amzing suprise!
I'll show you a picture of the cards I got.


This actually is the second one I got. This one came a day late, thanks post office. But I don't mind. This is just such a cute card. And this one was anonymous, but I already know who sent it. This card was sent to me by a friend. Such a cute card, I can't get over it (: Just those lovely little rabbits and the glitter.
On the front it says 'happy valentine's day' in Dutch.

This year is the first time I ever received something for valentine's actually. I normally don't send cars or flowers or chocolates and that kind of stuff. I think Valentine's is very nice, don't get me wrong, but it's a bit overrated, if you ask me.. It's just an excuse for shops to make you spend more money haha.

School Break

Yes! Finally! School break!
One week of eternal freedom, fun, and much much more. Love it!
After 6 weeks of working really hard for school, another test week, non stop studying and stress, finally the time to do nothing!

Saturday was already a great start. I promised myself to clean my room next week, and I already made a good start. All of my clothes removed from the floor/bed/chair? CHECK! And after that I decided that this week I wanted to spend my time being creative. During school weeks I normally don't have time to DIY or to be crafy, so I went to the store and bought a bunch of stuff.
I wanted to make a portrait, made out of only black and white paper, I'm gonna make a blog about this when it is done. So far, it's doing really great.

Also, I want to practice with painting. I'm a terrible drawer and I've always wanted to be a good one, so the only way to make that wish come true is by practicing. I bought some equipment and started.

Actually, I don't have that much to talk about. I don't have that many plans for this week. Oh, almost forgot, I'm going to a friend of mine tomorrow, and have a sleep-over (: Really looking forward to it! Even though she's in the same classes as I am, we don't have too much time to talk and to do fun things together, so this would be a great opportunity.

Next Week, Test Week... Again

Hi guys! And once again, the feared test week is coming up. Terrible. It is next week, with a total of 7 tests. It could've been much worse. The past two test weeks I had about 10 tests. So I shouldn't complain.
But just so you guys know, I probably won't post anything the upcoming week. Or oh well, that's the plan. But usually during studying I get bored and I want to do something different, so there will probably be a blogpost next week, who knows. I am still planning on writing a post about one of my obsessions: Les Misérables. I know, it sounds SO cheesy since everyone loves it, but I don't mind. I will write about it anyway.

That was everything I wanted to say for today. I'm off! Gonna watch some tv, which I haven't done for forever! I'm not that much of a tv person, always busy with other things. But today, I am making time for it. See you guys soon! Wish me luck on studying!

THE SCRIPT CONCERT

AAAAAHHHH. Last friday, January 25th 2013, I went with 3 of my friends to the The Script concert in the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam!! We bought our tickets last September, and now the time was finally there! To be honest I am not SUCH a fan of The Script, but 2 of my friends really like them, and me and my other friend were like 'why not join them', so we also bought tickets. Since the weather was terrible and for the last couple of weeks it has snowed constantly, we went with the car. Not only because of the weather, but it's also way more comfortable (:

New Layout

As you may have noticed, I have a completely different layout since today. I liked the old one, but there was just something that annoyed me, don't know what. I wanted a new layout. So I decided to choose a VERY basic layout, very clean. The colours remind me of the spring, and I now it's still winter,  but the sun is shining at the moment and I am in a spring mood. The layout is not perfect yet, and there are a couple of things I need to change, like the background, but for now it will do.

Well, I have been blogging for about 2 months now, and I really like it. The main reason for me to start this blog was to practice my English. My native tongue is Dutch but I think English is a beautiful language and to me it is very important to have a high level in English and this is a great way to practice. But not just that, I also want to talk and write about things that inspire me, or things that happen to me. I like to write it down and share it with other people, like you.
I don't have many visitors, and I hope that will change someday, but right now I am very thankful for the people that visit my blog on a regular basis. So thank you very much for visiting my blog!
I want to make my blog a bit more 'professional' in the future. I want to post pictures taken with a good camera, from good quality, and not so much pics taken with my iPhone at 11PM, when there is terrible lightning (:
