Look at this super cute mug I spotted in the Waterstones bookstore in Amsterdam a few weeks ago! Haha isn't it amazing? I fell for it immediately but didn't buy it since I already have enough shizzle lying around in my room.

If you live in The Netherlands, be sure to visit Waterstones! It is a beautiful store and has some pretty cool shelves with typical British and Dutch foods and other sorts of things. (:

Quokka

As usually I spend way too much of my time on the internet yesterday. And then I stumbled upon this:  a quokka. This small little creature is only to be found in western Australia. This is what Wikipedia says about it:

The quokka /ˈkwɒkə/ (Setonix brachyurus), the only member of the genus Setonix, is a small macropod about the size of a domestic cat^. Like other marsupials in the macropod family (such as the kangaroos and wallabies), the quokka is herbivorous and mainly nocturnal. It can be found on some smaller islands off the coast of Western Australia, in particular on Rottnest Island just off Perth and Bald Island near Albany. A small mainland colony exists in the protected area of Two Peoples Bay Nature Reserve, where they co-exist with Gilbert's potoroo.

HOW CUTE IS THIS CREATURE?! This is probably the happiest thing on the planet. It just looks so happy. How cute! I can't stop looking at it. From now on, whenever I'm sad, I'll just look at these pictures and be instantly happy again. (:

My V-Day Cards!

Wow! Believe it or not! But I got two valentine's day cards! I repeat: TWO. Aaaaah how amazing is that! I didn't expect to receive anything, so it was an amzing suprise!
I'll show you a picture of the cards I got.


This actually is the second one I got. This one came a day late, thanks post office. But I don't mind. This is just such a cute card. And this one was anonymous, but I already know who sent it. This card was sent to me by a friend. Such a cute card, I can't get over it (: Just those lovely little rabbits and the glitter.
On the front it says 'happy valentine's day' in Dutch.

This year is the first time I ever received something for valentine's actually. I normally don't send cars or flowers or chocolates and that kind of stuff. I think Valentine's is very nice, don't get me wrong, but it's a bit overrated, if you ask me.. It's just an excuse for shops to make you spend more money haha.
