Yes deer.

Look at this super cute mug I spotted in the Waterstones bookstore in Amsterdam a few weeks ago! Haha isn't it amazing? I fell for it immediately but didn't buy it since I already have enough shizzle lying around in my room.

If you live in The Netherlands, be sure to visit Waterstones! It is a beautiful store and has some pretty cool shelves with typical British and Dutch foods and other sorts of things. (:

CAE Exam

Well hello there. Long time no see. Let me update you guys a bit. So last week was pretty stressful. Last Tuesday was the written part of the Cambridge Advanced English Exam. We had to be there super early, and it lasted the entire day. Of course there were short breaks in between the different parts of the exam, but still. And it was very hard. I hope I will pass (:

But before I know, I'll have to wait until July 24. Ridiculous, right?!

The day overall was bearable. The building was near the station, and inside that particular station…. *drumroll* was a BurgerKing. (wow, that’s something I’ve never heard of before…) But we were very happy with that. And when we finally had our 20m break we ran to the burger king and ordered a ridiculous amount of King Nuggets. Dafuq, right. King Nuggets? Just call them Kip Nuggets already, don’t be silly. Luckily, they sure tasted very good. Yum. Uh-oh.. and then we found out we were kind of maybe just a little bit late to get back in time. So we ran our butts of (we, as in me and my friend who was also taking the exam) and…. Still came in late. Great.

Fun fact: my table was in FRONT of the classroom. Like, FIRST ROW. How embarrassing.. I could feel everyone just looking at me like I was some freak. Good thing I don’t give a shhh about what everyone thinks haha.

And that pretty much was my Tuesday: long, stressful, hard but fun and quite enjoyable. I traveled by train, which is (after flying) my favorite way of transport. Just chilling, headphones in, listening to some good music and reading a book. In my case: Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares. It’s really good so far! I’ve finished about 70% of the book I guess, and can’t wait to finish it!

I am afraid that will be it for today. There is a HUGE pile of homework waiting for me, so I guess I’m gonna do all those lovely assignments right now. Bye!

Lazy Sunday

*insert picture of the incredibly hot Knights of Camelot. Ugh.. Gwaine and Lancelot, why so handsome? *

Hello there! Well, today I don't feel like doing anything (and yes, that is also a Bruno Mars lyric). But seriously, I don't feel like doing ANYTHING. So I guess I'll just read a bit, do some homework, and study for my upcoming CAE exam (aaahhhh stress) and visit some family. Sound pretty chill, right (: I woke up early (8 AM) and here I am, still (11 AM while typing this) sitting on the computer doing absolutely nothing. I am watching an episode of Merlin right now, but it is too freaking scary so I just keep pausing it the entire time haha.

Haven't progressed much in LfA (Looking for Alaska, my current read) so that's something I need to work on :P I'm at page 70 or so. My goal for today is to read til at least page 120.

Hm... not much to talk about today, as you may have noticed haha. Just gonna leave it here and get off my lazy but and start doing something useful.

Enjoy your weekend/Sunday!

ALSO! How weird is this!? Just scrolling through the 'lazy sunday' tag on Tumblr, when I see a gif. of a scene in the Merlin episode I am watching right now. *poofffff* mind blown :D

Something came up

Remember when I said yesterday that I was gonna watch Intouchables with two of my friends? Well.. we ended up not watching it. Something came up, as usual. So that's too bad. Maybe another time haha, whenever that will be.

The weather has been so lovely! Last week when I was in London the weather was amazing, with lots of sun but in the Netherlands it had been a bit cold. And you need to keep in mind that in about 1 or 2 months of time we've had sun, snow, rain, heavy wind, clouds and much more! It seems like the weather doesnt know what she wants (: But the time is finally there! SUN! The weather man said on the tv yesterday that the temperatures will come above 20 degrees Celsius! Yay! Time to pull my short sleeve shirts out of the back of my closet!

I'm off! Going outside and taking a book with me! I am currently reading Percy Jackson & the Olympians.

Back Home

So the day before yesterday (Tuesday) was my final day in London.. I was so sad to leave. London is an AMAZING city. It is so full of life (duh, but you know what I mean), it's crowded, beautiful, traditional, modern, alternative, everything you can imagine. I enjoyed every bit of it. Taking the tube, walking down Oxford Street, strawling through the Victoria & Albert museum, looking at super expensive clothes in Harrods, crossing Abbey Road, lying in Hyde Park and enjoying the sun, that one cute mexican restaurant, and the lovely dinners I had with my mum. Just everyting.

Anyways. Too make a long story short. I had the most amazing time there, and I absolutely love it there. Can't wait to come back one day. Today I am cleaning up the last things and the things I bought there (I went shopping haha, and bought a lot of books :D )
Now I'm gonna put all of the pictures I took on the computer and upload them on my flickr. (:

Talk to you soon! And expect some pretty pictures on my blog soon.

PS: de picture above is a photo I took during the change of the guards at Buckingham Palace.

King's Cross..?

S

Woah! Just found out that Imagine Dragons (a band) has a song called 'Amsterdam'. How come I did not know about this?! It's really good, go look it up right now on YouTube! Haha, this is the second time this week that I am talking about Imagine Dragons.
Oh, just so you know, this is another post I am writing in advance, since I will be on a short trip to London this week. I'll be there from saturday until tuesday. Whick means I won't be home on Queen's Day. That's sad.. But hey, if you had to choose between the Netherlands and London, which one would you pick?

I've been BEGGING my mom the past couple of weeks to go and visit King's Cross Station while we're in London. Does that ring a bell? Yeah? If not, let me tell you. That is where Platform 9 3/4 from Harry Potter is! AAAH. I jus need to go there, take some pictures and frame those and hang up on my wall. That would be so amazing! And I also really want to go and visit Abbey Road. I mean, you should visit that place at least once in your life, don't you think?

Is it confusing that I am talking about wanting to visit all those places when there is a change that I am visiting right now, in this very moment while you're reading this? I hope not :P

That was about it for today. I hope you enjoy your day, wherever you are!

Excited!

Can't freakin' wait to go to London! I've probably said this about a hundred times, but oh my... SO EXCITED. Okay, now that I've had my fangirl moment, it's time to talk about something.

I really want to take this blog 'to the next level' (:P). But what I mean is, blog regularly, use more pictures in posts and stuff like that. And with 'pictures' I mean pretty pics I took with my Canon camera. But, lazy as I am, I never feel like putting that much efford into a blogpost. I know, bad.. But I am very lazy and I want to change that, by spending more time on blogposts. But there is a teeny tiny problem: I have NO time since I have to spend all my free time on school. But it's almost vacation, so that means I have more time to blog. Yay!

So yeah. Not very interesting. But that was something I wanted to see. Look forward to more blog posts soon!

Oh, and expect to see a lot of London related posts and/or pictures in the near future haha.
