Lazy Sunday

*insert picture of the incredibly hot Knights of Camelot. Ugh.. Gwaine and Lancelot, why so handsome? *

Hello there! Well, today I don't feel like doing anything (and yes, that is also a Bruno Mars lyric). But seriously, I don't feel like doing ANYTHING. So I guess I'll just read a bit, do some homework, and study for my upcoming CAE exam (aaahhhh stress) and visit some family. Sound pretty chill, right (: I woke up early (8 AM) and here I am, still (11 AM while typing this) sitting on the computer doing absolutely nothing. I am watching an episode of Merlin right now, but it is too freaking scary so I just keep pausing it the entire time haha.

Haven't progressed much in LfA (Looking for Alaska, my current read) so that's something I need to work on :P I'm at page 70 or so. My goal for today is to read til at least page 120.

Hm... not much to talk about today, as you may have noticed haha. Just gonna leave it here and get off my lazy but and start doing something useful.

Enjoy your weekend/Sunday!

ALSO! How weird is this!? Just scrolling through the 'lazy sunday' tag on Tumblr, when I see a gif. of a scene in the Merlin episode I am watching right now. *poofffff* mind blown :D

Awkward.

Here I am, sitting in a dark room (because I am too lazy to turn on the light) trying to write a blogpost. Yes, it is one of those moments when you have seriously nothing to talk about. Or you have so much on your mind but don't know what to say or how to say it. So why not talk nonsense? (:
A couple of my friends really like the tv series Awkward. It airs on MTV and season 3 started a couple weeks ago. And since she talks about this show ALL the time I figured I watch a couple episodes, and it is quite entertaining actually! Today I did nothing, except watching a bout 6 episodes of it haha. Laaaaazy day. I have so much homework and other stuff to do, but I just can't put myself to it. Procrastinating like a pro. My Cambridge Advanced English exam is coming up and I really need to start practising. I'll start tomorrow, I promise! ^^

Lovely Spring/Summer Fabrics

Good day folks! Today another sort of DIY blog post. Or actually, more of a sewing post? I dont' know exactly what to call it. Let me just begin at the start. I like to sew my own clothes. I am still in the learning process and I still need some help here and there, but I am okay (:
I started making clothes for the first time about two years ago, when I was 13. It's not like I make all of my clothes myself. Not at all! Just sometimes (usually during vacations) make clothes. My latest project were some really lazy and baggy trousers. I made those the past Holidays. And last wednesday, there was a conference where there are a ton of stands where you can buy fabric, patterns, needles, and everying else you could ever need for crafting. I went there with my mom and grandma (who also love to sew and to diy. I obviously got it from them) and I went looking for some fabrics. I wanted to find 2 very colorful pieces of fabric to make a skirt and to make another one of those lazy and baggy trousers (but this time I wanted summer-y colors).

On the picture on top of the page you can see the pieces of fabric I bought. I know it's not that clear to see, but there are 2 pieces of fabric, not one haha, although they look alike. The one on the left, I want to use for the other pair of trousers. The one on the right I want to use to make a bright and happy floral skirt. So far, I have made just 4 pieces of clothing: a pair of trousers, a pair of jeans, a blouse and of course the baggy trousers I mentioned before. And since almost all of them (except the blouse) are more winter/autumn clothing, I wanted to make something cheerful. Well, if you ask me, these pieces of fabric are perfect! Don't you think?

The teeny tiny picture on the right is a model of what the skirt is going to look like. Very wavy and summer-y. I love the pattern and it is not that hard to make. Whenever I have the time (hopefully very soon) I am going to start with the trousers, since I can wear those earlier than this thin skirt haha.
Spring, here I come!
